Small-Batch Coffee, Roasted in Portland
We source single-origin beans from farms we know by name and roast them in small batches at our SE Portland roastery. Every bag ships within 48 hours of roasting.
Spring 2026 — New Arrival: Our Huila Valley micro-lot from Colombia just landed. Tasting notes of honeycomb, blood orange, and dark chocolate. Limited to 200 bags. → Shop the Huila Valley lot
What We Do
Ember & Grain was founded in 2019 by two friends who believed great coffee shouldn't require a passport or a trust fund. We work directly with farmers in Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala to bring you beans that taste like where they grew up.
Our roasting approach is simple: highlight what the bean already is. No hiding behind dark roasts or flavor additives. Just clean, transparent coffee.
Now offering wholesale accounts — cafés, restaurants, and offices in the Portland metro area. Minimum 5 lb/week. Email wholesale@emberandgrain.com to get started.
